Rangen Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting

Experience a timeless moment on the hillsides, guided by the last remaining winemaker in the town, whose cellar lies at the foot of the Grand Cru Rangen in Thann.
Eugène or his daughter Léa, both winemakers and oenologists, will lead you through the vineyards, sharing their secrets and the unique characteristics of this exceptional terroir. They will also recount the historical anecdotes of Thann and its vineyards.
The tasting will take place in their half-timbered cabin overlooking the old town and their vineyard plots, or by the fireplace. The tasting can be paired with a charcuterie and cheese board.
You will discover four wines from the Grand Cru Rangen and Bollenberg.
Please wear comfortable shoes for the walk; different routes will be offered based on your fitness level and the weather.
Transport to the cabin is available for those who prefer.

Pause in our Renaissance-style half-timbered cabin, nestled among our vines, to continue the sensory journey with aromas and a tasting of our three dry wines, served in black glasses.

Winemaker’s Brunch

A winemaker’s escape on the hillsides and on your plate: a guaranteed immersion.
The journey begins at our property in the Kattenbach district, the winemakers’ quarter, followed by a gentle ascent through the valley.
Allow about half an hour of walking to reach the cabin. Various routes will be offered depending on your fitness level. If needed, we can provide transportation.
Enjoy a meal featuring a shared platter of charcuterie and cheese with a traditional pretzel, followed by a warm dish and a choice of chocolate mousse or fruit tart, accompanied by hot beverages.
Wines served: Grand Cru Rangen wines and Riesling from the Bollenberg vineyard.
Bread and water available at your discretion.
